Data Mining -[Data, Information, Knowlade,Architecture , Examples]

1.Data mining is the process of analyzing data from different perspective and summarizing  it into useful information.2. Data : Extracting knowledge  from large amount of  data is called data mining. ex u search google  , u get whatever u want with the help of data mining . gold mining.

Data 

 fact or raw material , unprocessed things

ex 250- currently it is data, it has no meaning.

 

Information -

 processing the data : -processing means -  giving some meaning to data  

Information inform you something.

In other words ,it must have some meaning , at this stage you will processed your data 

and put it into context.

Take earlier example of data which was 250. we could now give it a meaning 

that is we could say that it means 250 student 

But this doesn't really inform us anything , now we need to put it into context.

Now we can fully converted our data into information by not only saying 250 student ,

but by adding the fact that it mean 

250 student travailing to London.

So originally data was 250 , so adding meaning to it so was us saying it represents 250 students

and putting it into context  was us advising someone that  "these Students travailing to London "

INFORMATION= DATA + MEANING + CONTXT

Knowledge : 

Knowledge empower us to take accurate decisions. We have to make thousand of decision a day in our everyday lives both at work and at home . we does not want to make any decision , we want to make informed decision.[basis on the information]

Now we know that 250 student want to travel to London, but there are certain things that we need to consider first. 

ex- 250 of them can not be in one aircraft as there is not enough room , we would see this is as a rule,[something that can not be broken ]

There fore observing such a thing we  might now decide  to travel by train , so we have made a useful informed decision based upon rules.   this has help us to avoid possible mistakes.
